Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
The government has lifted the restrictions regarding the number of people we are allowed to host in the sanctuary.
I am thankful to God that this is so!
I am aware that some of you may have hesitation in coming back and it is understandable and so I encourage you with Christ’s own words, "Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.” The Lord has not left us during these hard times and His promises remain forever. We have endured strains of Delta and Omicron, but our God is the “Alpha and the Omega, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty” so let us come back together without fear and with great joy to gather around his Word and table once again. Come back to receive the Body and Blood of Him who gave Himself so that you would be free in this life and have no fear in death. I look forward to seeing you! I look forward to hearing you sing the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light!
Your servant in Christ

PROCLAIMING THE
LOVE
OF
JESUS
TO A LOST AND BROKEN WORLD
At Riverbend Lutheran Church, a congregation in Edmonton, all are welcome.
We are rooted in the stories of the Bible and believe worship is something that can be expressed in everything we do. Our confession is founded on the doctrines of the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, as the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God. No matter who you are, there is a place for you with us at Riverbend. We are a community of believers that gather around God’s promises revealed to us in the life, work, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus. Get in touch today or make an appointment and come and visit us in person.
