It is good to give thanks to the Lord . . . to
declare Your steadfast love in the morning, and Your faithfulness by
night. Psalm 92:1a, 2 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my
salvation; for You I wait all the day long. Psalm 25:5 My tongue shall tell of Your righteousness and of Your praise all
the day long” (Psalm 35:28). Throughout Scripture, we are reminded that all time is God’s time and that we spend every day in His care and with His blessing. God’s people are called to live each hour of the day following the example set by Jesus. Many Christian people find opportunity for personal devotion at the beginning of the day or as the day draws to its close. Yet all day long there are occasions for praying, praising, and giving thanks. All our times are God’s times—may we reflect the shining mercy of God throughout our days!
